I have a friend who joined PBS quite awhile back. When she joined she absentmindedly typed in the wrong address---She put "New York, NY" instead of "Brooklyn, NY." Because of this the post office will not deliver books to her. She has tried to change the address in her account info but it said she had to receive three books before making an address change. She has also sent a Help email 3 times explaining the situation and has neevr received a reply. She gets requests for the books on her bookshelf (which is limited since she won't add anything new until this gets resolved) but tunrs them down because she isn't going to send out books when she has no hope of ever receiving a book. What should she do since no one at PBS will reply or help her?? I feel sort of bad sicne I'm the one who raved about the site and got her to join! |

Well until she gets this taken care of she can choose the option to have the book mailed to another address and just put her correct address there. I do it all the time to send books to a friend. |

Staci, is she sending in Live Help questions or "Contact the PBS Team"? In this instance, I'd suggest she contact the PBS Team and explain her typo. She can reach them from a link at the Help Center. I'm not sure why she would be getting no reply, but make sure she's clicking the SUBMIT button if she's sending in Feedback.

She needs to follow the directions in the Help Center under "If you can't change your address in your Account Settings..." There's a section there with a link to click on if you haven't yet received your first three books. If she's sending emails, she's probably using an address that doesn't get a response. |
