My longest was a book my husband wanted that came from Puerto Rico 3352 miles (I actually received a book from Germany that was cancelled and then sent anyway but it isn't in my transaction archive so I can't count it I guess).

My shortest was a book I received from 10 miles away. I told the member we could have met for coffee and saved her postage!

I had one from the same zip code as me, and she has the same first name as me!

My longest was 4438 miles from Saipan, MP and the shortest was 52 miles.

Cool question!

Hey Michelle, that's quite a coincidence.

Theresa, I have to admit I didn't know where Saipan, MP was and googled it. What a history that island has! That is a place I would like to visit.

Longest was 2,650 miles  Shortest was 5 miles

Seems like I mail the most to states on the East Coast.  There are only 4 states I haven't mailed to yet and 7 states I haven't recieved from.

My shortest has been 78 miles and my longest, 4192 - from Hawaii.

shortest 27 miles

longest it says, 2454, but I did sent a book from me in CT to Hawaii and it seems that should be longer. Hmmm.

The shortest delivery time was 27 hours, which I thought was amazing, for media mail, too. Hooray!

I love this thread!!

I've only been a member for 3 months, and live in the center of the country, so mine won't be any record...but, longest is 1745 and shortest is 113.

I also only have 21 states to send to!

I seem to do a lot of business with GA... Maybe PBS is really popular down there?

Most of my transactions have been to & from East of where I live in SW OK..

I just checked.  I had forgotten my longest was 4,522 miles.  I had sent two books to Peurto Rico.  My shortest was 12 miles.  I just dropped it off at her door, since my friend lives on the same street!!  How fun to be able to check and keep track.  I love that map.  Carrie

In the month that I have belonged to PBS, I have mailed 41 books and received 21 ( this does not include the 16 I have currently mailed and the 19 that are on their way to me)  out of those the closest was 265 miles (apparently no one lives here in Nebraska :-) and the farthest was 2443 miles.
