A culmation of beautiful period pieces of furishings that will surely take one back to the days of their grandparents or in my case my parents. This book is a compliation of photos submitted by Midwestern antique dealers to aid the collector be it novice or experience antiquer in properly identify depression era pieces. Color photos and great writing. It is reminds me of a printed version of the antique roadshow.

This is a great book full of photos. I was able to use it to discover that my old dresser is from the 20's and my daughter's is from the 30's (and that it's waterfall style). All other antiques books I could find were the traditional. This book deals with the furniture that will be antiques soon (over 100 years old).
