I began reading these books of the Ryder and Nautilus detective team because they are set in my hometown. I enjoyed the first two, but this was by far the best of this series so far. A very well woven and intense mystery that was difficult to put down. What I most enjoy about these, though, are the personalities and quick wit of the main characters-at times, laugh out loud humor:) All three books stand on their own, but references are made to events in the earlier books. Very entertaining and worthwhile read.
