I have really enjoyed reading this book. Ms. Dugan goes through which plants and flowers to plant during which phase of the moon. She says that the flowers and plants will grow better and produce more blooms. She talks about which kinds of flowers to plant when trying to attract faeries or wildlife. She presents graphs of different layouts for different types of gardens in the book. For example, where you would plant flowers for partial to full shade in relation to trees. I thought the book was very thorough and Ms. Dugan has a sense of humor that makes the book enjoyable and not boring.

This was one of the books that introduced me to the Pagan world and I have kept it in my bookshelf ever since. Luckily for someone else I had a second copy pop up on accident and they loved it so much as well. I love the author and have met her. She is down to earth, funny, and an all around great person. Her books are easy to follow, she doesn't talk down to you, and she knows what she is talking about. She has even helped me to improve my gardening skills and not just my magical skills. And just in case you would like to do your own research she has a suggested reading list. I highly recommend this author and especially this book if you are interested in Garden craft.
