This is the 4th book in the Promised Land series. It can be read individually or as part of the series. The other books are: Willow (1); Velvet (2); Gypsy (3); and Augusta (5). Great book and great series.
Garnet Dulan, a young woman traveling west on a wagon train and decides to leave it for adventure of her own. She negotiates a deal to play piano in a saloon and bucks horns with the Sheriff Gabe Walker and he has to save her when she is wrongly accused of murder and robbery. They have to put there stubborness aside to admit that they do care for each other.
