An exciting Sir John Appleby yarn about look-a-like brothers. Charles is rich. Arthur is a no-account. An inexplicable boating accident provides Arthur with an opportunity too good to pass up. Charles is dead; he isn't. What could be easier than to take on his brother's life and money? Make that, what could be harder? This is a really great Innes.
