Geek Logik is definitely an amusing little book to have around. Some people will probably enjoy it more than others... but for the most part, the book has some quirky equations that are fun to try out when you have a few minutes to "decide" on something. I wouldn't recommend trying to use an equation to decide whether or not you'll go to work that day... then again, who knows... you can apply equations to everything in life (if you managed to find a reason for that).
In fact, my boyfriend (the logical programmer) and I (the emotional artist) had a great time doing some of the equations. We tried our hand at the "Are you whipped by your boyfriend/girlfriend?" equation (with a couple alterations of our own) and we couldn't believe our results. Even though we answered a little differently, our scores at came out the same. We couldn't stop laughing because we thought we were whipped by the other even though it isn't the case.
So girls, if you're into Cosmo quizzes with your boy toy, maybe... you can try a couple of these with the geek down the street. Anyway, this is decent novelty gift for those who love crunching numbers. :)
