I like anything about George Washington and this book is a fun way introduce kids to his mother. He was human and had a mother just like the rest of us. She wasn't perfect but she wanted what was best for him like all mothers. I have all of Jean Fritz's books and I think this is just another example of how she makes learning about history fun for kids.
