But if you could have been standing in a certain spot that night, just a few feet away from the old and curious adobe tower building at the top of the neck of land, you could have seen the fog make soft halos of light around strange yellow glows that should not have been there.
And if you had breathed deep of the night air, you would have smelled the clean scent of the fog, the salty tang of the sea below, and the wonderful fragrances of fresh natal plum pudding and hot Irish soda bread, both just baked.
