This book was definitely better than the 1st. You really start to learn a lot about Sylvie, and her sister Zoe. Sylvie is definitely a kick ass, take charge kind of girl, but you actually see a softer side to her in this book. Since coming back from her vacation (to forget what happened in Chicago) Sylvie tries, albeit reluctantly, to help a cop from Chicago who has a ghost taking up residence inside him. Which just happens to be Demallion. Sylvie also gets wrapped up in a teen burglary ring, but the teens have some magical help. The ring includes Sylvie's sister, Zoe. I couldn't put the book down and now am anticipating reading the next.
