| I saw you today thru eyes that were clear there was no gift wrapping no ribbon or bow but the smile you gave me told me all I needed to know You stood taller and strong a wise handsome young man Walking and Talking proving them wrong You gave me that smile so full of unspoken thanks and then made me laugh when you quoted me outloud "if its not on mom's calender you don't get to do it" adding in only half jokingly Even if its the Grim Reaper requesting you play Your sisters all laughed while nodding their heads knowing the gift we had been given instead I saw you today thru eyes that were clear clear of the pain that had clouded the tears for so long instead I could see thru the new tears that fell like snowglobes...magical happiness all around |
