I had to read this book for a college class I was taking. Its very informative and shows you the difference between the social classes in Renaissance Florence. Its written by the records of a court case about the marriage between Giovanni and Lusanna, and, unlike what the title suggests, this is not a love story but rather the end of the love story. It's very interesting to see how court and politics play out in Florence and if your curious about how life was in this time period, this would be a great book to read.
