This book is pretty hardcore bdsm. The women are willing participants. The play is somewhat extreme with heavy bondage, shock stimuli, robotics, corporal punishment, etc. This is definately a slave situation. Though its not a "fairy tale" it reminded me of a harder version of the Beauty Series and is definately fiction. There was also some scenes of female domination(though not many for the overall content) as well as f/f sex scenes.

IF you like bdsm this was a really good read.
