This is a very interesting and often humorous look at different issues, events, and concerns that make the lesbian community in the US what it is. Though this book was written over 10 years ago, so specific details may change, a lot of the broad themes are still every bit as applicable today (PROCESSING! OH GODS!). One of the blurbs on the back cover declares it a "state-of-the-community book" and I think that's a pretty good description. Very enjoyable!
