Read up to page 77 of this novel and couldn't find a single reason to keep reading. The setting of Bangkok seems exotic at first, but the way the characters interact with their environment it's just like any modern metropolis. The characters may be hiding things, but it doesn't feel like much is at stake for any of them. All in all, boring.
