Two young girls are murdered and Dave and Clete are trying to find out who did it. Was it related to old family money, the new ex-con friend of the family or the rich wife of another town resident? The book is well written as most other books by Mr. Burke.
Another great read by Burke.
Burke's language is so rich, it feels like a tapestry of description. It's almost dangerous to listen to his books on CD, because they are riveting. So, too, are the books. This is a remarkable book.
Dave Robicheau fans will love this one! A great read with an ending that sends you to Burkes website for unanswered questions.
Crime solving in Louisiana doesn't get any better than James Lee Burke's Dave Robicheaux and Clete Purcel...and 'The Glass Rainbow' is one of the author's most engaging tales...
I enjoyed it, like his writing style. Whatever he writes is always good, never have been disappointed.
