"Glory Road" is an interesting book and movie. The book obviously depicts a more detailed picture of Haskins and does not solely focus on the monumental victory by Texas Western College over Kentucky in the 1966 NCAA Finals. There are areas where the movie takes artistic license with some facts in order to move the plot along. If you have only seen the movie, I recommend that you also read the book. The movie is good but the correctness of the story as told in the book is a much richer experience.
