I just didn't find anything I wanted to make in this book, given other restrictions (chocolate, nuts). The recipes tended towards stollen and other "traditional" baked goods that are actually not part of my tradition at all. No cookies AT ALL. Not saying it's a bad cookbook - just not appealing to me.
