Could someone please tell me the correct steps to achieve the following: I am going on vacation (DISNEY!!!) and want to put all my WL books on auto-WL (yes, I have the credits) and my bookshelf on hold. Which do I do FIRST? Put the auto-WL on or the bookshelf on hold? Is there a button that I can click to make all the WL books go on auto-WL at once instead of clicking the drop-down 200 times? That would be cool! I just want to make sure I do the right thing FIRST so I have a hope of getting any WL books while I'm gone. Thanks for any assistance, I'm leaving for the day but will bookmark the thread so I can read it tomorrow. |

I think you have to do the auto-request on each book individually. I would do that and then put the shelf on hold. Oh, and have fun! :) Cheryl |

It doesn't matter what order you do it in. |

OK, the reason I ask about the order is this statement from when you click the main vacation setting page: "The "Vacation/Hold" feature "hides" your posted books, as well as your Wish List, during periods when you are unable to send out books or respond to PBS emails. This helps to prevent disappointing other members who may try to request your books or who post books on your Wish List while you are away." I WANT members to post to my WL while I'm away! :-) So, I think I just need to do auto-wl FIRST, then set it to vacation, right? Bueller? Anyone done this? Honestly, I'm far back in a lot of lines (or many of my WL books haven't even come out yet) but hey, I don't want to miss ANYTHING. So, please chime in if you think I'm on the right path to FIRST auto-wl, then set vacation hold. Mickey awaits! |
