Author spent a lot of time describing the area and history of the area this book took place, which I found kind of slow and drawn out in those parts of the book. Other than it was and ok read.
I enjoyed the book. Not only did it tell the life of a golden retriever it talked a lot about history of the Cape. I felt it was well written. It took about two hours to read.
