Nicely written saga set primarily in Canada and England stretching over a period of four decades. Tells the story of a young woman from Scotland who leaves home and goes to Canada hoping for a new life with members of her family. If you enjoy the novels of R.F. Delderfield, then you will likely find this author to your reading taste.

It was pretty good, but kinda boring. I suppose this isn\'t really my type of book, but for anyone who likes deep books, this is for you
