Very good book....a lot of weaving around the thoughts of a teenager, insightful, fun, yet serious and mysterious.
Having 3 beautiful sisters - a story about a lost sister made me realize how blessed I am - Meryl Streep's daughter does a fantastic job telling Nico and Margaret's eerie story of love and puberty and longing for what you can never have again. Beautifully written very realistic and utterly engrossing!
LOVED this book, narrated by Mamie Gummer (I'll confess at this point how much I adore Meryl Streep, Gummer's mother, and how very much I hoped her voice would sound the same. It doesn't.) Still, she does a very good job and the story is engaging and lyrical. Excellent character development, spot on point of view from a teenage girl's perspective, and a satisfying ending.
