Most thrilling set of canasta games in all of western literature.

Originally published in 1959, when real men were real men. I guess reading the book gives it more gravitas than the movie, in the movie you know the authors have tongues in cheeks, with books, it's harder for me to know.

This book takes you back to the golden days of espinoage, the 1960s. Bond hardly relies on hi-tech gadgetry to catch his foe. It is a fascinating comparison to the movies. A good read for spy enthusiasts!
