This was a delightful story about Esmeralda, an older lady who takes a position in a halfway home for young women with addictions. Her charm, conviction and fearlessness in caring for these women was an inspiration. I truly enjoyed this book.

This is another book in the series about a lady named Esmerelda and her move to work at a halfway house. This series is written in a very stylistic Southern small-town way and this may put some people off. I personally liked it because I know people who speak in the very same manner in the small town I grew up in. The central character is interesting and honest about herself and her struggles to be the kind of person she desires to be.

This is a fun book about an elderly woman who loves life and everyone around her. She has decided to work in a home for women and spends time loving them and trying to help them. She is willing to risk her own safety to let these abandoned women know she cares for them. because they sense her love is genuine they slowly open up to her.
