Very evocative of New York City on and after 9/11. As one who worked near WTC on that terrible day, it did bring back so many memories, good and bad. The story is very well-told and I enjoyed his prose very much. Ultimately, it is a story of people who use a catastrophe as a chance to examine their lives and take chances on the future.
