It has since been corrected and enlarged by the addition of some notes, which are placed at the foot of the page, with a view to guiding students to various sources of information which may yet throw further light upon the interpretation of the fragment.
The Lecture on the 'Revelation of Peter' was given before the Divinity Faculty shortly afterwards, and was at the time already in the press.
These editions must be regarded as tentative. Our object has been to place the texts without delay in the hands of other students. We hope that here after they may be expanded in the series of Texts and Studies.
