This is Kerr's first book, published in the US by Doubleday in 1969, and predates his "conversion" to "healthy" eating. Frankly, I think it avoids the later fanatical censorship tone of Kerr to somehow convince his readers/viewers that tasteless foods can actually taste good! He uses an instructional approach here, with many pics and details missing in most cookbooks. His Austrailian roots show through in this volume more than in his later works.
Quite interesting!
