This story is so stupidly unbelievable. No way it could even come close to being reasonable. I am incredulous that the hero was tricked and duped again just to make a "happy ending." Perhaps in our day and age something may have been salvaged of the situation, but in the Regency era the fear of scandal and the importance of at least the appearance of honor would have made the ending impossible.

The characters fell in love too quickly--the author didn't make it convincing at all. The book was extremely disappointing.
