The story was really good and I loved the characters. This is a short read, more of a novella. I would enjoy a tale with more depth into these characters and the setting. The main problem I had is the lack of editing (which was distracting to me). A glaring example of this is a quote on page 7: "You're gifts are expanding." Really? You're gifts? If this book was properly edited, I would rate it higher.

Eerie, spooky, absolutely wonderful read! Caroline is an empath who is being targeted by an unknown person or being and her energy is being drained. Max is a widower and owner of a bookshop with psychic abilities. Together they form an alliance to attempt to rid Caroline of whatever or whomever is trying to possess her. This is a short, read in one day book--really more like a novella, but it was super good.
