Fans of Brett's "The Demon Cycle" series should enjoy this short novella which contains deleted scenes and other short stories from "The Warded Man". One deleted scene features Arlen as a messenger in Krasia and the other features Leesha. There is not a lot to learn about the characters in this book but it is a refreshing visit to beloved characters as we fans await this years release of Bood Three "The Daylight War".
