If you've been reading any one of The Great Books of the Western World (and there are at least 54 of them), and are wondering what's it all about, then Dr. Adler will tell you, in so many tersely well-chosen and concise words. Despite that, the book itself is (or can be) a helpful, insightful tool for one to attempt to understand the nuances involved in approaching philosophic thought.
