I am surprised that there are no wishes for this book despite the current climatic changes, opening of the NW Passage, and Pt. Trump's interest in making a deal as was done by Pt. Wilson with the Danish West Indies.
There is a great deal of text interspersed with photos and much of the emphasis is on cultural geography. The Nuuk Marathon, Innuit String Figures, and religion is discussed. Most residents are Evangelical Lutherans. "Greenland is a fascinating mix of old and new, north and south, ice and land, and relaxed and difficult living."
Further reading, maps, and a good index.
(I won't bother posting it but will put it back on the 'free' book truck for someone else to have.
