Gregory Levey (born ca. 1978) is a writer living in Toronto, Canada.

He served as a speechwriter for the Israeli government, first for the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations in New York,[1] and then, in Israel, in the offices of Prime Ministers Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert as Senior Foreign Communications Coordinator and English Speechwriter.[2]

He is a regular contributor to Salon.com, and has also written for The Globe and Mail, the National Post, The New Republic, the New York Post, and others.

Levey is Assistant Professor of Professional Communication at Ryerson University. Shut up, I'm Talking, a memoir of his experiences in the Israeli Government was published by Simon & Schuster/Free Press in April 2008.
