Grilled Shrimp

  • 1/2 Jar - Peanut Sauce
  • 1 lb. - Extra Jumbo Frozen Shrimp
  • 1/2 Cup - Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 Cup - Toasted Coconut
  • 1 Pinch - Freshly Chopped Cilantro

Run frozen shrimp under cold water to defrost.  Remove skin.

Put some sesame Oil (not too much) in a marinade pan (Tupperware one is the best).  Add 1/2 Jar of Peanut Sauce.  Mix.

Add shrimp.  Shake Container to mix.  Put in fridge to marinate.

Toast coconut.  Chop cilantro.  mix and put on cookie sheet.

skewer shrimp on wooden sticks.  No need to soak them.

cook on grill.  roll cooked shrimp in coconut/cilantro mixture.  (THIS IS OPTIONAL)


For cool display, put sticks in a half cut pineapple.

This recipe is a huge hit.  I make it a lot!
