This volume was not published in 2008 but it didn't cross my path until this year. It was utterly delightful! As a big fan of letters (sending and receiving them) and an even bigger fan of Groucho Marx, this was bound to be a success with me.
I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of people, from all walks of life, with whom Groucho exchanged letters.
And what letters.....funny, witty, charming!
It was also an interesting way to be exposed to the issues, fears, economy, politics and styles of the times.
