I don't think I've read it...Maura sounds familiar, but I've gone through Johanna Lindsey and Joan Johnston, and it's not either of them...I wish I've read it now because it sounds good!

Clue #1: The names have been changed

One of his friends stepped closer to the fence. "Colin, is everything all right?" He turned to answer. Jenna stopped him by putting her hand on the side of his face and nudging him back to her again. She whispered her plea then. He must not have heard her, because he leaned down closer until their foreheads were almost touching.
