Renovations at the Seaglass Inn are moving forward as opening day is just around the corner. Georgia Carpenter, owner of the Inn. has hired a couple of employees who are ready to start work immediately. Georgia is also excited to receive their first reservation. Meanwhile, Travis Taylor's daughter Sam has decided that her young son Clayton may benefit from getting to know his paternal grandmother. But she doesn't know that Clayton's father is in town and is shocked to run into him for the first time in ten years.

The sixth book in the Blackbird Beach series was a bit slow. Most of it centered around Clayton's father, Levi, telling Sam the real reason he left her years ago. At the Inn, there were a lot of plans for the magazine shoot that will take place the next week. My rating: 3 Stars.
