I read this book had never heard of it or the Author, found the book to be a good read for those with an open mind it is about a young man age of 18, the family he begins with and then the tragedy and coming of age from adolescence to adult hood and finally finding love. It deals with a younger Adam and meeting an older Police Officer under not the bests of terms and many twists and turns in this book. I would recommend it for a romantic read, I enjoyed the book very much.

I read 3/4 of this novel and put it down; I just couldn't work up the necessary enthusiasm to finish it. The writing is amateurish. Is it really necessary to spell out the sound of cars, doors, phones (ie. "bling-idi-bling-idi-bling") throughout the book? And there are forays into side-stories that totally detract from the content as well. I think this needed a good editor!
