Death, rebirth and love set the tone for this compelling novel by Dean Mayes. The gasping moment that Andy dies on the table from a drug overdose will make you pause, but when he is revived and different, you will question. How does Andy's life join the life of a man he has never met, Denn?. Denny, who had it all and died from cancer, who only has his love of the guitar in common with Andy. But Andy begins to gain Denny's memories and with them, the love of Sonya. Will they meet? Can Andy turn his life around? That is the journey that Mayes takes us on. One filled with pain, love, loss, grief and hope. Make some time when you pick up this novel, you won't be able to put it down!! Mayes writing is seamless and breath-taking, paying attention to detail to bring everything to life. His characters are very well-developed and the dialogue is fantastic. I highly recommend The Hambledown Dream!!
