Loved this! It's a historical novel following Cleopatra's life. It's told from the point of view of one of her handmaidens, who is her half-sister whose mother was a palace slave. They grew up together, along with another of their half-sisters who also became a handmaiden. I like Graham's writing a lot and even though I already knew what Cleopatra's life was like and how it all ended, I still teared up when it came to that part.
