I was wondering if anybody else has a hard time getting rid of hardbacks in their area. None of the ubs take romance hardbacks here. In fact think they take only non- fiction hardbacks unless they are by REALLY popular writers. The hardacks that I have posted on here really aren't taken either. |

My friend owns a UBS and she will only take highly desirable hard backs. She absolutely won't take and HB that have already come down to paper--she just doesn't have the space. She will, however, take first editions. For me, the problem is they are just too heavy and you can't put them in your purse. That being said, I just bought World Without End by Ken Follett. It is the sequel to Pillars Of The Earth. World is 1014 pages. Now that is a heavy hardback, but I can't wait another year for the PB. |

I don't have a problem with sending or receiving hardbacks...in fact, I like them better |
