I still can't get into several sections of the site, most notably for me, the Club Members Thoughts forum. I just keep getting the message about maintenance. I've deleted my Internet cache, my cookies, done the hard refresh numerous times, still can't get it to work! This is in IE 6. Strangely enough, it works fine via Firefox but I'm really an IE person so this is driving me crazy!

Any suggestions?

Bren; download IE7. It's so much better than IE6.  We miss you over at "Thoughts".  Try it.

Nothing I did seemed to help on Tuesday Bren - I know how you feel.   I am still having to do a hard refresh often on pages, but at least now THAT is working.   I did everything on Tuesday I could think of INCLUDING using another computer.  lol  I can feel your frustration.   Hope it clears up for you soon.   You are missed!

Could be updating to IE 7 might do the trick I was just in Club Members Thoughts and it came up fine for me.

I WOULD update - but I'm on dialup and can't download for diddly. And I have no access to a "hard" copy - I wish I did. My cousin is a consultant who does a lot of work for Microsoft - maybe I'll see if he has a copy.

Bren; just a thought!  Can you get to a library computer or a friend who has cable hookup and take a CD with you to download IE7?

You could try doing a system cleanup (Under Accessories->System Tools) Make sure temporary files and internet temporary files are marked.

Try deleting the temporary internet files. I would think that the messed up pages would stay there until cleared.
