As they argue, a mage called Cathan attacks her and her father. Almost immediately after a giant man and a teen boy suddenly appear trying to protect her, and then her father vanishes. Moments later Shealy O'Leary & her father was transported to a different dimension inside the Book of Fennore. The ancient mystical land of Fennore is a cursed place unsafe for either O'Leary. She has no choice but to learn how to survive. Her only goal is to find her father. Can Tiarnan and his younger brother Liam protect Shealy from the dangers of this terrible place?
They discover the she has a special gift that might save or destroy them all. But, there is another who seeks Shealy and her powers, a mage named Cathan. Once only a man, Cathan was lured into the book by a Druid, who himself was trapped by evil witch into the book, and whose humanity was eaten by darkness over 2,000 years of guarding great power. Cathan, was corrupted by the evil magic he absorbed from the Druid, while the Druid absorbed Cathan's humanity. Cathan is now a creature of the book, rotten to the core, wanting to escape. He Controls the book. While the Druid is weak and trapped in a ghost like form in the dungeon. A situation unknown to anyone except to one, an accidental transported Girl called Maggie, captured by Cathan, now trapped in the dungeons as well. Being protected by the ghost Druid.
Shealy is a magically gifted and a creature of prophecy. She must learn to use her innate sacred force that remained dormant until now in order to save her father from the likes of the man who wants to possess her power. She finds an ally in Tianan the Warrior.
Interesting twist in the story is the when Shealy finds her mom on the island in the book with her 3yr sister. Her mom she thought died pregnant 7yrs a go. And watches the 9 headed monsters eat her alive, right after they recognize each other. Though she saves her sister by making the unkllilable-monster killable.
Shealy can open gates to different words. Her job is to send the stranded people in the book back to their worlds. Find the 3 keepers, (her father, his friend who is already accidentally been brought to the world, & one of Tiarnan men) and bring them in, have them seal the book. Return them home. Trap Cathan in the book before it's sealed closed. And not get killed as predicted by the prophecy.
