Hello everyone, I'm new here and I need a little help. Recently, a fellow club member requested a book from me. However, she had a stipulation saying she didn't want any books that were 'excessively worn.' So, I clicked on the button that said 'does not meet requirements' and when that box popped up asking me to type in the reason why, I basically explained that the pages were yellow with age and there were lots of creases in the cover and binding. This person later sent me a pm saying she would like the book anyway, so I asked her to re-order it so I could print up a wrapper. She responded saying that it wouldn't allow her to re-order it!

Now, my first idea to rectify this situation was to simply ask for her address via pm, and then send the book out to her. I then realized that I wouldn't be able to get a credit that way. Is there any way I can get this lady her book while simultaneously acquiring a credit, or will I just have to stick to my original plan and count my losses? Thanks in advance for all your help!

You can go with your idea to get her address via PM.  Have her add you to her buddy list and you add her, then she can buddy you a credit.  That way she gets her book, you get the credit.  The only downside is that it won't show up on your transaction list or on your map.

I'd ask her to buddy you a credit if she wants the book since you were only doing what you thought was right by not accepting her conditions.  She'll need to provide her address to you and it won't show up in your transaction archive but I don't think that last part really matters
