Book Description

The first in the newly repackaged Kensington Chronicles series, The Hawk and the Jewel sweeps readers from the tapestried halls of Victorian England to the alabaster courts of Arabia.

Everyone thought little Sunny had perished with Lady Gallagher in stormtossed seas off the Arabian coast, but the beautiful toddler had been found, taken to the palace of Darhabar, and raised as the rulers own child. Now the emir, Ahmad Khan, is sending her home, and Sunnys uncertain, new life is completely in Gods hands.

This classic series, which has sold more than 375,000 copies, has a fresh, new look sure to please Lori Wicks longtime fans and readers just discovering the treasure of a great story.

This "Wick" series was my first venturing out of American setting for fiction. I did learn from it and found I can enjoy good writing from another time period and country. Be sure to get all the books to this Kensington Chronicles series.

Loved this book. It takes place in a very different setting than other books I have read. That added to it's appeal.

I really enjoy this genre of writing so this is definitely a top 20 for me. It is the second time I have read it and I enjoyed it just as much this time as the last.

Wonderful book. Touching and exciting. One of my all-time favorites, along with the others in the series.
