This book was very, very short. Unlike the other books in the series that tackled an immediate problem (someone is kidnapping/hurting shifters; someone is targeting the Crow cult; local shifters are being framed for attacks) while also advancing the series storyline of the looming threat of Samir - this book seems half-finished rush job. It is all set up for the next book -- it made me wish I hadn't bought it in the first place.
