I usually am not a fan of short stories. They don't get warmed up enough or end too abruptly. Not this one. WOW! Loved every minute of it!

I picked it up based on the cover, and this book can judged by the cover ;).

This story was amazing! So well written in every way and complete despite it's length. It touched my heart, my mind and possibly my soul. Not to mention all my girlie places! Phew! Talk about steamy!! I think I may be in love with Caden! Damn I hate it when I have to remind myself the characters aren't real.

Makenna has had a horrendous day and things can't get any worse. Calling for another passenger to hold the elevator door, she hopes to get back on track with her day a teensy bit, if she can help it. Not soon after the door closes, the elevator shutters and the lights flicker out. Stranded in a pitch-black elevator with a complete stranger Makenna is totally about ready to lose her cool.

Caden panics when the power fails. He is trapped in his own nightmares along with the beautiful redhead whom he saved the elevator door for. Opening up to one other, they reach out for companionship and possibly more... But as the hours go on, will things feel the same when they can be freed of the pitch black elevator and see each other in the light of day?

Short and steamy but worth the ride. I will never look at an elevator the same way again.
