Usually when movies are adapted from novels, audiences collectively agree that the original manuscript is better than what ends up on the big screen. In the case of "Just Like Heaven," (originally published as "If Only it were True"), the opposite is true. Nevertheless, the story is still charming, just not as likeable as the movie with Reese Witherspoon.

Such a sweet book. I think I originally read this when it may have had another title? Could be mistaken. Fast moving.

This book is about a woman who lives a busy life as a doctor, and ends up in a terrible crash. She comes back to her apartment as a ghost and the only person who can see her is a gentleman who rents her apartment.

If you have seen the movie, you will like the book.
