  Heavy Burdens

by George Edward Schilling Jr

Heavy burdens stress interwoven,
there is a peace a solitude,
a savior has been chosen.
When everything is spinning round, step
out of the funnel with knees to the ground.
In what part of this man has salvation been
given,
that makes his children's lives worth living?
A gift from the Father none better than
this. Love has accomplished all,
though in the flesh at times we fall.
Can a plan so simple be true, with fresh
started lives a beginning that's new?
Accepting the Savior who suffered for you,
to live in your heart, alive he is too...
With nailed spiked hands he did his part.
In suffering he died but rose from the dead,
and in believing you trusted and said.
Come into my heart. Come live in me.
Together we'll set the captives free.
